Have You Been On This Mountain Long Enough?

Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward. (Deuteronomy 2:3)
Sometimes in life we can become too comfortable where we are. We are afraid of moving forward because fear of the unknown. Life is a journey and we must continue to move forward and not become stagnate and complacent. Has God spoken and told you to start that business, go back to college, start your ministry, etc.... but you keep making excuses. You say to yourself, "I will do it next year." Only to wake up and find that it is now five years later. Please understand yesterday has past, tomorrow is not promised, all we have is today. Each day is gift from God and we must not take it for granted. God is saying get up from here and go! He promises never to leave us or forsake us. Let's walk out this journey of life with Jesus knowing He will be with us every step of the way. If we acknowledge Him, He will direct our steps and grant us success in our journey.
Love you,
Monica

Meditating On The Word Of God

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (Joshua 1:8)
It is important for us to meditate on the Word of God daily for the scripture tells us this is the way to lead a prosperous successful life. Let us inspire to not only read the word but also meditate on it. Webster's definition of meditation is to focus one's thoughts on : reflect on or ponder over. Meditation will bring a greater revelation of God's Word. What do you think are the benefits of meditating on the word?
Bless you richly,
Monica
